Just about every other suggestion in my Countdown to Halloween Spooky Books is fun fare, but now that we are past the halfway point, I decided to post a more intense read, From Hell. In fact, it may be one of the most intense reads ever.
Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell's exploration of the mystery of Jack the Ripper is not for the faint of heart. Nor is it a little bedtime reading. It is so detailed and thorough, you'll believe it to be the truth. And that's perhaps the scariest part of this read.
